Harford Community College Offers FAFSA Assistance Workshops and Virtual Financial Aid Night

Not sure if you can afford college? Harford Community College is here to help. Those needing assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should plan to attend “You Can Afford College: A FAFSA Completion Event.” High school students seeking information about financial aid can register for a virtual workshop. There’s more aid available to students than most people realize. Join us and learn more.

You Can Afford College: A FAFSA Completion Event

Everyone who plans to attend college in fall 2023 or spring 2024 should complete the FAFSA. Visit Harford Community College’s Joppa Hall on Saturday, November 5 between 9 AM and 1 PM for assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from Harford’s Financial Aid team members. To successfully complete the form, bring the following items for both student and parents: FSA ID, Social Security numbers, 2021 Federal Income Tax returns, 2021 W-2 statements, and 2021 Untaxed Income records. Virtual Financial Aid Info Session

High school students are welcome to attend Harford’s virtual Financial Aid Workshop on Monday, October 24, at 6 PM via Zoom. This free event includes tips and timelines for completing the FAFSA and applying for federal, state, and college financial aid. Open to all regardless of whether you choose to attend Harford. RSVP here. A Zoom link will be provided to those who register.  

Financial Aid Workshops are also being held at various Harford County Public High Schools. High school students can contact their school counselor’s office for further information.
