21 September 2022

The Chesapeake Gallery at Harford Community College will host the exciting works of artists Sam Whalen and Sara Allen Prigodich from September 26 through October 31, 2022. A blend of 2D and 3D forms will fill the gallery with themes of fragility, anxiety, balance, chaos, growth and decay in this engaging exhibition of ceramics and mixed media works.

All are invited to the opening reception with artist talks to be held on Thursday, October 6, 3:45-5 PM in the Chesapeake Gallery.

The Chesapeake Gallery is located on the second floor of the Student Center building on Harford Community College’s campus at 401 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air. Parking is free and handicap parking is available close to the gallery. Gallery hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 8:30 AM - 7 PM; Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30 AM - 5 PM; and Fridays, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The gallery is closed on weekends and major holidays.

The College’s Chesapeake Gallery features contemporary art by emerging and established artists, as well as Harford’s faculty, staff, and students. It serves as a vital educational link between the community and the practice of art and design in the region.
