Harford Fighting Owls Braedon Karpathios Signs With San Diego Padres
Harford Fighting Owls outfielder Braedon Karpathios has signed with Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres.
Karpathios ended 2022 with a .377 batting average and a team best 49 walks. He finished within the top five of major offensive categories for the Fighting Owls, including RBI (44) and hits (43). The Lancaster, Pennsylvania native was one of the heroes of Harford's postseason run, as his three-run bomb against Potomac State in the Region 20 tournament tied the game and eventually allowed the Fighting Owls to knock off the Catamounts in extras.
Karpathios Goes to Padres
Fighting Owls outfielder Braedon Karpathios signed with MLB's San Diego Padres. The Lancaster, PA native was one of Harford's postseason run heroes. A designated hitter, he also played left and right outfield and first base.
