Fighting Owls Announce Spring '22 Athletic Director's Honor Roll

Harford Athletic Director Ed Liesch has announced that 73 student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director (AD) Honor Roll, with 19 Fighting Owls achieving a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the spring 2022 semester. In addition, the athletic department combined for a 2.74 overall GPA this spring.

"I am thrilled to report that our student-athletes produced yet another strong semester this spring. This is a tribute to the hard work and support of Harford's administration, coaches, faculty, and staff," said Manager for Athletic Compliance and Student-Athlete Success Dimitrios Jelen-Joy.

To earn a spot on the AD Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 grade-point average while taking at least 12 credits.

Individual Accomplishments - 19 Fighting Owls maintained a perfect GPA in the fall: Filip Bazant (Men's Tennis), Jada Bright (Women's Basketball), Jordan Bright (Men's Basketball), Mackenzie Burton (Softball), Natalia Calvo-Herrera (Women's Tennis), Benedetta Canfora (Volleyball), Joe Clancy (Baseball), Martina Croce (Volleyball), Tommy Crocetti (Men's Lacrosse), Kaitlyn Delaney (Softball) Casey DiVenti (Women's Lacrosse), Philipp Gall (Men's Soccer), Paul Glenchur (Baseball), Bradley Hall (Men's Basketball), Lily Holtschneider (Women's Tennis), Emanuele Moretti (Men's Soccer), Jack Owen (Men's Lacrosse), Natalie Storm (Women's Lacrosse), and Tiana Travers (Softball).

Jada Bright, Bradley Hall and Casey DiVenti led the Fighting Owls with their third respective semesters holding a flawless GPA. Of the 73 student-athletes who made the AD Honor Roll, 32 are appearing for the first time. 24 additional Harford student-athletes made the cut for a second time, nine do so for a third semester, and eight make the list for a fourth time.

Team Accomplishments - Harford women's tennis led all teams in GPA with a 3.44. Five of its members made the honor roll and two carried a 4.0. Fighting Owls cross country (3.38) and volleyball (3.25) also finished above a 3.00 as a team.

Rounding out the top five team GPA's were softball (2.94) and women's lacrosse (2.80). Harford baseball (2.78) and men's soccer (2.77) ended the semester above the department average.

Softball topped the list with three student-athletes receiving 4.0's. Harford baseball finishes with the most honor roll members (14) followed by men's lacrosse (13) and men's soccer (11). Four teams tied for the most student-athletes returning the honor roll this semester at six.
