Harford Community College to Freeze FY2023 Tuition Amid National Economic Crisis

10 March 2022

At its monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, the Harford Community College Board of Trustees unanimously voted to freeze tuition rates for the FY2023 academic year.

“Our students have persevered through many challenges over the past two years and I’m happy that the economic turbulence we are currently experiencing will not extend to tuition,” said Dr. Theresa B. Felder, president of Harford Community College.

The decision to freeze tuition reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to supporting its students as they pursue their academic goals.

“The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College is pleased to be in a position to freeze our student tuition and fee rates for the upcoming year,” Board Chair Laura Henninger said. “Given the unpredictable fluctuations in the economic market, we know that finances are a primary concern for many of our students.”

The Board unanimously voted to keep the following tuition rates for the upcoming year as follows: In-County rate per credit hour: $135.00; Out-of-County rate per credit hour: $230.00; and Out-of-State rate per credit hour: $325.00.
