Harford Dance Theatre Presents Kinetic Canvas: Frida Kahlo

Harford Dance Theatre’s Kinetic Canvas series returns to Harford Community College on July 30 and 31 with an original dance-theater production inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, in the Chesapeake Theater at 7 p.m. This innovative performance, which is directed by Lauren Carnesi Daniels, guides the audience through a narrative based on Kahlo's themes of self-reflection, pain and passion, and bold color through original and dynamic choreography.

Harford Associate Professor of Art History Jeff Ball will lead an informative pre-show discussion at 6 p.m. in the Chesapeake Dining Rooms.
