Harford alumnus Darvin Figueroa Cortes ’25 was recognized by the Achieving the Dream Network and received a 2026 Harvey Lincoln Student Scholarship in acknowledgement of his collegiate achievements. Darvin plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and work in critical care.
Harford Librarian Andie Craley was appointed as one of six new members to the Federal Depository Library Council by U.S. Government Publishing Office Director Hugh Halpern. Her three-year term begins June 1 to represent the MD/DC/DE region and help provide a voice for community colleges.
Harford student Mooswaan Shrestha is one of 485 national semifinalists for the highly competitive Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, recognizing her exceptional academic ability, leadership, and service. Mooswaan is a biology major and member of the Honors Program.

Auditions for “Kinetic Canvas: Banksy” will be held on Saturday, April 4, in the Susquehanna Center Dance Studio located on Harford’s campus. All roles are open; dancers must be at least 13 years of age or older. Rehearsals begin in May; performances will be held on July 31 and August 1.
