The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 9, beginning at 6 PM. Joppatowne High School's P-TECH grads are celebrating a historic milestone: 22 students earned their associate degrees from Harford on May 21, making this the largest class of P-TECH grads in program history. These trailblazers are ready for extremely bright educational and professional futures.
Harford's 2026 baseball season ended three wins shy of a national championship, but not before the Fighting Owls delivered one of the most successful campaigns in program history. Finishing 55-8, their NJCAA World Series run reinforced the program's standing among the country's elite junior college teams.
The Harford County Electrical Contractors Association (HCECA) Apprenticeship Program celebrated its 45th Annual Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Amoss Center at Harford Technical High School. The ceremony honored 89 graduates for their hard work, dedication, and successful completion of the apprenticeship program.
The Spring 2026 Nursing Class Pinning Ceremony for Harford Community College’s associate degree nursing graduates was held on May 19 in the Amoss Center in Bel Air.
Harford Community College held its Sixty-Eighth Annual Commencement on Thursday, May 21, 2025. Two ceremonies were held this year in the APG Federal Credit Union Arena at the College. The 10 AM ceremony was for graduates of the Arts and Humanities and Behavioral and Social Sciences divisions, and the 2 PM ceremony was for graduates of the Business and Applied Technology, Nursing and Allied Health Professions, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math divisions. In traditional cap and gown ceremonies, graduates of the Class of 2026 received an associate degree and/or certificate at the events.
Dr. Theresa B. Felder, President of Harford Community College, presented the Distinguished Alumni Award to Edward Hopkins at the College’s 68th Annual Commencement Ceremony on May 21, 2026. Recipients of the award have attained outstanding success in their chosen profession, demonstrated a commitment to the community, and maintained an interest in and service to Harford Community College.

Winner of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize, RENT follows a group of young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in NYC under the shadow of HIV/AIDS: June 5 & 6 at 7:30 PM, June 7 at 2 PM, June 12 at 7:30 PM, June 13 at 2 & 7:30 PM, and June 14 at 2 PM in the Chesapeake Theater.
Harford Community College's 68th Annual Commencement ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 21 at the APGFCU Arena on the College’s campus. In addition, Harford County schools will hold high school graduations at the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College starting Friday, May 22. Heavy traffic is expected and people driving in the area around the College are encouraged to allow extra time to reach their destination.
