Harford’s Music Department is hosting two concerts in Joppa Hall, Recital Hall #1 next week: its vocal and instrumental students in solo and ensemble recital performances on December 10 at 7 PM, and “An Evening of Jazz” with the vocal pop and jazz ensembles on December 12 at 8 PM.

Harford Community College's Foundation is pleased to announce that nominations for the annual ATHENA Leadership Awards are now being accepted. The deadline for nominations is December 3. Nominees must accept the nomination and complete the application by December 12.
Harford Dance Theatre will audition dancers 11 years of age or older for “Alice in Wonderland” on Saturday, December 13 in the Susquehanna Center Dance Studio on Harford’s campus. Registration begins at 9:30 AM; any callbacks will occur from 1 to 1:30 PM. All roles are open.
The College was awarded a grant by the philanthropic group Arnold Ventures through Governor Wes Moore’s Maryland Partnership for Proven Programs. This initiative is investing $20 million across the state to expand evidence-based programs that help Maryland youth thrive.
Harford will offer GED® classes April 20-June 22. If you’re interested, register for the required Pre-Orientation to learn what’s involved. GED® classes cover reading/writing, science, social studies, and math. Three levels of classes are being offered, based on entrance testing.
The annual Harford Community College Library book sale that took place October 27 to 31 had record-breaking sales this year. All proceeds from the sale, a total of $2,151, were donated to the Harford Community College Foundation for the College’s William Schwartzman Memorial Textbook Scholarship.
