About

Dr. Tamara Biegas has been teaching at Harford Community College since 2013. She received her AS in Science from Schoolcraft College, BS in Geology/minor in Biology/concentration in Hydrogeology, and MS in Geographic Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Geographic Information Science from Texas State University. Dr. Biegas enjoys teaching at Harford Community College because of the small classroom size which allows more interaction with students.
