Tamara Biegas

Assistant Professor Geography


Dr. Tamara Biegas has been teaching at Harford Community College since 2013. She received her AS in Science from Schoolcraft College, BS in Geology/minor in Biology/concentration in Hydrogeology, and MS in Geographic Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Geographic Information Science from Texas State University. Dr. Biegas enjoys teaching at Harford Community College because of the small classroom size which allows more interaction with students.

Dr. Biegas’ research interests include Geospatial Technology, Health/Medical Geography, Physical Geography, Human Geography, and Environmental Science.
