Enterprise Information Systems

Information & Technology Services (ITS) provides technology support in Internet services, networking, telecommunications, microcomputer hardware and software support for all academic and administrative computer users on campus.

The Enterprise Information Systems group is responsible for maintaining and supporting the college's student information system and related applications including SOLAR and the Owlnet web portal. The team consists of database and portal administrators, systems analysts, and programmers.  Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the student database, keeping the system up-to-date, providing programming assistance to all areas on campus, and implementing new solutions and modules within our ERP.

Some applications supported by this group include:

  • Ellucian Banner - Our Oracle based Student Information System (ERP)
  • Degreeworks - A degree planning system for students and advisors.
  • Owlnet - Web Portal for credit students and employees
  • SOLAR - Self Service portal for noncredit students
