The Adult Literacy department at Harford Community College announces upcoming advising dates for students seeking to improve their reading and writing skills, prepare for their GED, or improve their English as a Second Language skills.
Advising sessions for adult basic education and GED preparation are designed to assist students in selecting the right academic program for them. Students must be at least 18 years old and not possess a high school diploma.
Advising sessions are available at HCC's campus on Monday, September 21 or Tuesday, September 22 at 9 AM, 1:30 PM and 6 PM for fall classes. For those looking to improve their English as a Second Language skills, advising sessions at HCC's campus are available on Wednesday, September 23 at 1 PM, 3:30 PM, or 6 PM for fall classes. Registration is required. To register, contact Chelsea Reeder at 443-412-2152 or email@example.com. The student must be a foreign-born adult at least 18 years of age and not an F1 or J1 Visa holder or currently enrolled in high school. Please note that all advising sessions are subject to cancellation if conditions related to the coronavirus pandemic dictate. All advising session attendees need to complete a health screening and temperature check prior to their session. They must also follow social distancing protocols and wear a mask.
