Governor Hogan has appointed Steve Linkous to the nine-member Harford Community College Board of Trustees. Mr. Linkous was sworn in at the Harford County Courthouse on August 8, 2019. His term expires in June 2024, after which he will be eligible for reappointment to another five-year term. He will represent Councilmanic District D.

Mr. Linkous is President and CEO of Harford Mutual Insurance Company in Bel Air, MD, a position he has held since 2006. He also serves on the boards for a number of local organizations, including the Harford Community College Foundation, the Baltimore Area Boy Scouts of America, and the Harford County Public Library. He volunteers for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Harford & Cecil Counties, Habitat for Humanity, Harford Family House, the SARC, and University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.

Mr. Linkous began his postsecondary studies at Harford Community College, going on to earn a BS in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland University College. He is also a graduate of the Institutes’ Executive Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
