Harford Community College’s Office of Disability Support Services and the student organization Psyched Up! are jointly hosting Soul Collage in recognition of Disability Awareness Month on October 5 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Student Center, Room 243. Students, staff, and faculty are invited to create collage cards and explore their views about disability and disability-related issues such as empowerment, advocacy, perseverance, inclusion, social justice, and equality. Participants need not stay for the entire two-hour time period, making it a perfect lunchtime retreat. Join in and discover new perspectives in this fun and introspective workshop!
For further information, contact Dawn Volkart in Disability & Student Intervention Services at 443-412-2452 (TTY 443-412-2199) or DVolkart@Harford.edu.
