Screech's Night Owl 5K & Fun Walk  |  OCT 18, 2024

SCREECH’S NIGHT OWL 5K & FUN WALK
OCT 18, 2024  |  Harford Community College

Ready, Set, GLOW!  Join us on for Screech's Night Owl 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk at Harford Community College! This fun event takes place at 7 PM in the evening to allow our runners the opportunity to wear glow items, glow in the dark clothing, etc. Proceeds from the Screech Night Owl 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk benefit Harford Community College Student Athlete Scholarships.

At Harford Community College, our student athletes are at the top of their game, on and off the court and field. By participating in one of Harford's thirteen NJCAA sports, they make a commitment to excel not only in their sport, but in the classroom. Harford's student athletes accomplish great things during their time with us and beyond–they excel at giving back to the community and many of our students transfer to a university to play at the NCAA level and earn a bachelor's degree.

This year the Screech’s Night Owl 5K & Fun Walk record attendance helped raise over $20,000 in support of our student athletes.  Screech is already planning for next year’s event, so save the date, Friday, October 18, 2024. For questions or to see how you can get involved, please contact Brad W. Cox at 443.412.2675 or brcox@harford.edu for additional information.

Our goal is to make all materials and services accessible for everyone. If you need accommodations to participate, contact the Office of Accessibility at Harford Community College at least 10 days in advance of the event.
