COVID-19:

Information and Resources

Effective Thursday, July 1, 2021, the College will discontinue the COVID-19 masking policy and social distancing protocols.

Vaccines are highly encouraged but not required.

Anyone who feels unsafe or who has not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine should continue to wear a mask indoors for their own safety.

Please check back often. Information is subject to change based on current conditions. (rev. 7/01/21)

Resources for Students, Employees, and Community

The College continues to receive questions from students, employees, and the community relating to how the College is handling COVID-19 issues such as availability of technology and internet, and food, family and financial resources that are available. Below we have provided links to some of the most commonly asked questions as well as to services and resources that are available both from the College and the government.

Reopening Plan

The Report and Recommendations for Reopening Campus (rev. 6/02/2021) outlines a phased reopening plan for the College with each stage contingent on local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as current public health recommendations.

Stage 3, a full reopening of all campus buildings and facilities, will occur only be when the United States has developed effective therapeutic methods and/or a vaccine to combat COVID-19. It is also highly dependent on Governor Hogan’s Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery. At this time it is simply impossible to predict when external conditions will become favorable and allow us to consider a full reopening of campus.
