Federal Pell Grant

A Federal Pell Grant is a need-based grant awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate a financial need.  The amount of the grant depends on the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and the number of credits for which the student enrolls.  Students must complete the FAFSA to apply for this grant.  All students are urged to apply.  The maximum Federal Pell Grant amount for 2013-2014 is $5,645.

Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

The Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and who receive Federal Pell grants.  Awards are based on fund availability.  The minimum FSEOG is $200 per academic year.
