Once registered with DSS, students will be assigned to a DSS advisor. The DSS assigned advisor will assist in developing an educational plan that considers the impact of the disability on educational and career plans. Appointments with the assigned DSS advisor are required for DSS Orientations, academic and career advising, and to pick up Accommodation Memos.
Parents and family members of students with disabilities are invited to participate in a Parents Connect Orientation Session. Designed for all new Harford parents, this program will familiarize you with Harford Community College and everything we have to offer. Parents will have the opportunity to get questions answered as well as gain valuable information to assist you in supporting your student. More information is available on the Parents pages of our website or by contacting email@example.com.
