HCC Strategic Plan

On August 14, 2007, the Board of Trustees adopted the Strategic Plan developed by the Strategic Planning Committee and endorsed by the campus community.  Harford Community College now has a revised Mission, Vision and Values, and a set of Strategic Themes and Major Initiatives that will guide the college through 2012.  At that time the plan, which is being evaluated regularly by the Strategic Planning Assessment Committee, will undergo a major review and revision.

The HCC Strategic Plan is a living document.  As instructors and academic divisions make decisions affecting student learning, the Strategic Plan is considered in that decision-making process.  As individuals and work units set goals each year, the Strategic Plan is considered in that goal setting.  As budget plans are being made, the Strategic Plan is considered in that planning.  The HCC Accomplishments document demonstrates how the strategic themes and initiatives set forth in the Plan are guiding the work of the campus.
