for Military Training >
Up to 30 hours of nontraditional credit, including
military credit, may be awarded based upon declared program of study.
Evaluations will be completed for students who have an active
application for enrollment and have submitted all required military
documentation (AARTS, SMART, CCAF, CG-5311, DD form 214, DD form
295). In awarding credit, the College follows the recommendations of
the American Council on Education's (ACE) Guide to the Evaluation of
Educational Experience in the Armed Services. For further

Service Members Opportunity College
The College is a member of Servicemembers
Opportunity Colleges (SOC), a consortium of national
higher education associations that help meet the voluntary
education needs of service members and their family members.
SOCAD and SOCMAR Agreements will be completed for military
students and their family members who have an active
application for enrollment and a degree intention of either Accounting,
Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Information
Systems, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, General Studies
or Retail Management. Resident credit of fifteen hours is required.

Credit through Correspondence
Students who have taken courses by correspondence
through the Defense Activity Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)
may receive credit. Courses taken under the former USAFI program are now
reported through DANTES and many also be evaluated for credit. For further
