Explore the History of Our College
The College Archives holds material that documents Harford Community College's (HCC) governance and administration, its student life and cultural contributions,
and the development of the College buildings and grounds. Explore records of HCC’s reorganizations; student newspapers from the 1960s; Board of Trustees minutes; programs from
theatrical productions; records of shared governance between administration, faculty, staff, and students; the work of the curriculum committee; yearbooks and literary magazines; and much more.
Since its founding in 1957, HCC has grown from 119 students taking evening classes at the high school to a student body of 10,000 and nearly two dozen buildings
on a 200+ acre campus.
In addition to many linear feet of paper documents, the Archives also holds a small selection of photographic prints,
slides, negatives, audio recordings, and films relating to the College.
