RESPONSIBILITIES:

HCC is seeking a customer service-oriented individual to provide computer and  technology support to the students, faculty, and staff of HCC. Duties include, but are not limited to, responding to helpdesk calls and resolving work orders; troubleshooting network user account issues; formulating steps and assisting users with implementing technology; installing and testing equipment; recommending computer hardware and software to accomplish specific tasks; documenting internal processes; maintaining application systems; creating scripts and applications; performing operating system and application imaging and deployment; and performing other duties as assigned. 

This is an exempt, professional staff position.

REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree and three years of related technology support experience is required.  Applicants must have MAC and Windows computer hardware and software analysis and installation experience; scripting language experience (BASH, BSD, Batch, VBS, Powershell, etc.); three years of technical/trade experience with MAC OS X and Windows 7 desktop operating systems; desktop image creation and deployment experience; virus and malware detection and removal experience; and experience working with hardware and software vendors.
