Computer Technician

(Two Part-time Positions)
Hourly Rate Range:  $9.63 - $11.08

RESPONSIBILITIES:

HCC is seeking two enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individuals to join our Technology Support team.  Computer technicians assist students, faculty, staff, and the public by answering questions and  resolving technical problems with the College's computers, printers, audio-visual equipment, and networked computer applications.

Work schedule is up to 20 hours per week and may include day, evening, and weekend hours as required by the College. 
 

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma supplemented by college courses and two years of related technical experience, including hardware and software installation and support, are required; an associate's degree is preferred.  A+, Net+, and Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.  Applicants should have knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7 or latest version, Mac OS, and A/V support.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.  Customer service, remote desktop, laptop and printer support experience are plusses.
