Arena Coordinator
(Two Part-time Positions Available)

Hourly Rate Range:  $15.61 - $17.69

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Two detail-oriented individuals with strong customer service skills are needed to assist in coordinating events at the APG Arena at Harford Community College.  Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting arena general manager with maintaining an electronic calendar, scheduling for arena events, scheduling and following up with event staff, working with College departments to plan arena activities, handling customer feedback and resolving issues, generating reports on ticket sales, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

Work schedule is up to 20 hours per week and may include day, evening and weekend hours.
 

 REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Sports Management or Event Management.  Experience in event management or scheduling, customer service, and working with staff preferred.  Computer proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment and familiarity with social media required.

Any offer of employment at Harford Community College is contingent upon the results of a mandatory background screening.  Employees must submit within 30 days of hire official transcripts of all degrees earned.
