Federal Work Study
OVERVIEW
The Federal Work Study (FWS) program provides
part-time jobs for students who have financial need, allowing them to earn money
to help pay for educational expenses. Job assignments are based on the
student's career goals, financial need, class schedule, academic progress and
availability of funds. Students must be enrolled for at 6 credits per
semester and must complete the FAFSA to apply. Federal Work Study jobs may
be on campus, in community service agencies or in the America Reads Program.
