My first computer was a Commodore 64, and I started programming in 1984. In 1988 I started working with Amigas, and then moved on to PCs in 1990. In 1994 I graduated from Georgia
Institute of Technology with a BS in Physics, and Pre-Med. At the
time I intended to go to medical school, but I changed my mind in my
senior year to go back to the field of computers. I've worked as a Lab
Assistant, PC Technician, PC and Network support specialist, network
contractor, and computer programmer. While working as a network
contractor, I obtained MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
network certification including IIS certification, and more recently CompTIA Security+ certification. As a programmer, I have released several shareware applications, and created several web sites. Through the years my software has received
write-ups in PC World magazine, and MSN. Currently I am working at HCC as a Senior Application Developer.

In addition to full time work, I started teaching classes at HCC in 1997. Since then I have taught Intro to Computers,
Assembly Language Programming, Intro to Computer User Support, Intro and Advanced Visual Basic,
and Network Security classes.
On a personal note,
I like roller coasters, and love to travel.
