Continuing Education menu:
Become a certified floral designer.
For certification students must complete 6 required classes and 2 electives. Students must successfully complete Introduction to Floral Design before taking the Advanced Floral Design Course. Other courses and electives may be taken in any order. Courses will be offered throughout the year in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Approximate cost of the program is $2,200.00.
Employment for floral designers is expected to decline slowly, by 3 percent, between 2014 and 2024.
Median annual wages for hourly and salary floral designers in Maryland were $30.520 in 2015.
