Certificate to Career in One Year

Learn new skills and prepare for employment with a H.O.T. certificate from Harford Community College.

  • Are you between the ages of 18 and 24?

  • Are you interested in earning more money with a rewarding career? 

  • Would you like to get to work quickly with short-term training leading to a High-Demand Occupational Training (H.O.T.) certificate? 

  • Are you interested in taking your reading, writing, math, and study skills to the next level?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Certificate to Career in One Year program may be right for you.

To be eligible for the Youth Services Program*, you must be 18-24 years old.
Additional eligibility considerations are:

  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by WIOA Title I 
  • Require assistance with improving reading, writing, and math skills 
  • Meet H.O.T. certificate program requirement
