GED® Test Preparation

Your Maryland High School diploma is within your reach.GED Speakers

  • Prepare to take the GED® examination and earn a Maryland High School diploma
  • Advanced math, science, social studies, reading, and writing skills
  • Computer and test-taking skills
  • Meets two evenings a week for 15 weeks
  • Need to have qualifying scores on assessments 
  • Tuition, fees, and books are paid by the student
  • Adults must be 17 years of age or older and officially withdrawn from school to enroll in GED® classes.
  • Scholarships are available.
  • Senior adult and disabled retiree course fee waivers are available.
  • Eligible for VA benefits

Important GED® Test Information

Harford Community College has a testing center where students can take the computerized GED® test. HCC's  Pearson Vue Testing Center is located in the Belcamp Center here on the college campus.  For more information, call 443-412-2160 or email literacy@harford.edu.
