Submission Policy

Thank you for choosing the Chesapeake Gallery at Harford Community College in your search for exhibition spaces! The gallery is excited to invite artists, artist groups and curators working in any medium or format to apply for the 2017-2018 exhibition seasons. Artists and/or curators are responsible for the transportation or shipping of all artwork to and from the Chesapeake Gallery. There is no commission on sold work. Incomplete submission packages will not be reviewed. We look forward to viewing your entry!

 

Exhibition Proposals Should Include:

1.) Resume/ C.V.
2.) Artist(s)/Curator’s Statement
3.) 10 Digital Images in Jpg or Jpeg format, on a CD or attached in an e-mail, no larger than 2MB each. Images should be named as follows:  Number.LastName.FirstName.Title.jpeg  ex.) 01.Blair.Brad.Sunset.jpg   (YouTube links for video and other time-based media will be accepted as well)
4.) Image List corresponding to Digital Images provided should include Image Number, Name, Title, Dimensions, Medium(s) and Date.  ex.) 01. Brad Blair, Sunset, 24 x 36in., Oil on Canvas, 2016.
5.) Brief Exhibition Description (500 words or less).
6.) $10.00 Application Fee (Checks made payable to: Harford Community College and in the FOR line, please write Chesapeake Gallery Application Fee)

*All written materials should be submitted in PDF or Word format.
