Home Inspection Master Course
During this 72-hour
course, students experience an in-depth look at each component of a
house - what to look for and how to report their findings according to
the Maryland Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. The student will
learn hands-on through lab exercises and demonstrations. Upon
completion, graduates have the skills to seek employment as a home
inspector, set up a home inspection company or add home inspection
services to their current offerings. This program meets the requirements
to seek a home inspection license in Maryland and other states.

Energy Audit – “Online” “On Demand”
This
course teaches the relationship between all the systems in the house and its
effect on occupant health, safety and comfort, energy efficiency and
durability. Students learn how various systems interact, and how a flaw in
one area can compromise the performance in another system. Both symptoms
and root causes of common home energy issues will be covered.

Locksmith – “Online” “On Demand”
This
class features through both lecture and hands-on exercises the various
functions, finishes and grades of locks. In addition, the student is
introduced to a variety of different peripherals which increase the security
of a standard lock significantly. Students also learn the methods used to
visually as well as alpha-numerically identify the most common commercial
keys by sales volume. Students are taught to use both a database program and
a key catalogue for the purpose of identifying and referencing keys.
