The Print Graphic Design Noncredit Certification is a professional
Certification designed for creative individuals who want to learn how to
design printed materials. Learn the fundamentals of typography and design.
Learn how to use Photoshop to create,
edit, retouch and transform photographs, Illustrator for vector images, and InDesign
to create complex documents. Certification is awarded at
the successful completion of a final project, weekly classroom assignments,
and a demonstration of an understanding of the skills needed to be a print
designer.
Prerequisites include having a good understanding of
directory and file structure, knowledge of Windows 2000 or XP.
Certification is awarded at the successful completion of the
entire program's project, weekly classroom assignments, and
demonstration of an understanding of the skills needed to be a
print graphic designer. Students are required to attend a
minimum of 80% of each course to receive a program certificate. At the completion
of the program students will have a portfolio of their work from
the classes to present to employers.
All courses must be taken in sequence. Online Ed2Go courses will not substitute
for a face-to-face course.
