Need Advice on Computer Training or Certifications?

Whether starting out or starting over, changing careers or upgrading computer skills, HCC staff is here to help you on the path that meets your objectives.

Advising services include the Workforce Development Open House  held at the beginning of the fall semester, and personalized one-on-one advising. Schedule an appointment in advance to assure adequate time for advising by calling Pam Karwowski at 443-360-9108 or emailing pkarwowski@harford.edu.

Beginners should start with Introduction to Personal Computers or Introduction to Business Computing.  Please note requirements for other classes.  We also strongly recommend that you take Keep Track of Files and Folders.  If you don't already type, take an online keyboarding class.

HCC has created  a series is for individuals who are reentering the workforce, want to advance in their career, change careers, or be more productive. These courses provide the training needed to gain computer skills that can lead to employment or help you advance in your current career. The first course, Starting Over, will identify your strengths and help you map out strategies to achieve your goals. The next six courses will teach you the necessary computer skills for today’s workforce. Finally, the last two courses will help you write an effective resume and search for that perfect job.

Let Harford help you with your educational goals!
