Applying for an F-1 Visa

We are excited that you have chosen Harford Community College as a possible school in which to pursue a college degree in the United States! We issue the Form I-20 only for students pursuing an Associates Degree. We offer the following degrees: Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT). We do not issue I-20s for students who wish to obtain a Certificate.

In order to be considered for admission, you must meet academic requirements, as well as requirements for receiving the Form I-20, the document required to apply for the F-1 visa. For information on the application process and admission requirements, download the 2016-2017 International Student (F1) Application Packet for an Overseas Applicant. You will also need to download and complete the Application for Admission.

International students cannot apply online. All applications must be sent by mail. We strongly encourage you to submit all forms and supporting documents together by the following deadline:

  • Fall admission: June 1
  • Spring admission: November 1
