Business Administration


The Business Administration program is designed for students who, after earning their Associate of Sciences Degree, wish to transfer to earn a baccalaureate degree in some area of business. The courses prepare students for later specialization in finance, human resource management, management, private and public accounting, marketing, merchandising and advertising. Cooperative Education is available to students in this program as an additional means of receiving extended learning experiences related to Business Administration.


(accelerated format)

The new Accelerated Business Administration program provides the same degree as the above program but is designed for students who have a 3.0 high school GPA, are college ready, and want to earn their degree in only five 8-week semesters. Their ultimate goal should be to transfer to earn a baccalaureate degree in some area of business. This is a rigorous program and students must follow the prescribed combination of online, face-to-face, and hybrid courses to successfully complete the program.

Employment/Career Potential

According to the 2012-2013 Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment in the field of business management is expected to grow 14% through 2020.
