Welcome to Harford Community College. Our distinguished faculty, administrators and staff are dedicated to providing our students with the power to achieve their educational and career goals.

The Office of Academic Affairs oversees the review and approval of all academic programs, the College Library, instructional procedures, and instructional faculty and staff. We are dedicated to new and continued partnerships with local and neighboring colleges and universities and Harford County Public Schools. We also support the growth and innovation of programs and services designed to encourage academic and community enhancement.

We are proud of the opportunities and resources the College provides both locally and statewide. From preparing our students for jobs with a global emphasis to broadening the life experiences of our Continuing Education students, Harford Community College strives to uphold its commitments to the community.

Academic Divisions

With seven academic divisions, Harford Community College offers a spectrum of educational backgrounds and academic opportunities.

Continuing Education

Harford Community College continues to serve its community with programs, courses and events that encourage lifelong learning.

Degrees and Programs

HCC offers four different associate’s degrees in 65 programs of study, as well as several certificates.

eLearning

eLearning supports online models for credit course delivery, giving students the opportunity to take classes from anywhere at any time.

Honors Programs & Societies

The Harford Community College Honors Program offers an enriched academic experience with courses that include greater intellectual and experiential opportunities and challenges.

Instructional Resource Center

The mission of the IRC is to provide instructional support for faculty and instructional staff.  

Learning Assessment Committee

The Learning Assessment Committee is a standing committee of the Faculty Council.

Library

The Library contributes to excellence in teaching and learning by supporting and expanding classroom instruction by providing easy and comprehensive access to information and instruction in various formats.

Global Education and Engagement

Global Education and Engagement is dedicated to increasing awareness of and respect for different cultures locally and around the world by providing students and staff with valuable Travel Study opportunities and sponsoring educational seminars, workshops, forums, presentations on international issues and events.

College Articulation & Transfer Information

HCC has developed several articulation agreements with four-year colleges and other higher education institutions to facilitate the seamless transfer of programs and courses.

University Center, Northeastern Maryland

Through its university partners, the University Center, Northeastern Maryland offers 30 programs of study, convenient course offerings and opportunities for accelerated learning.
