Did you know that Harford County, Maryland is the birthplace of the modern sustainable agriculture movement in the United States? Join our free virtual event, "Harford County: Rooted in Agriculture," on Saturday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and find out more about our amazing local food system. This program is for anyone who eats! Families are encouraged to join in as there are lots of family-friendly activities to participate in.

The event will be co-hosted by radio personality and local farmer Steve Rouse and Maryland Public Television producer and Harford County native Sarah Sampson. In addition, our companion webpage https://www.harfordcountymd.gov/3049/Rooted-in-Agriculture-Virtual-Event links to Ag-Venture activities for children and families to enjoy.

"Harford County: Rooted in Agriculture" will be live streamed from The Grove on YouTube and Facebook.
