The campus community extends its sincere condolences to the family of Ralph H. Jordan, who passed away on November 5. A retiree who held several administrative positions at HCC, he served as Interim President in 1976-77. Other positions during his years at HCC (1968-1988) included Registrar; Director of Admissions, Registration and Records; Acting Dean of Students; Acting Dean of Instruction; Assistant to the President; Coordinator of the European Contract Training Program with the U.S. Air Force; and Director of Business and Allied Health Training. Mr. Jordan also served on the Harford Community College Board of Trustees from 1995 to 2004.
Mr. Jordan’s family is planning a memorial service in the spring. Donations can be made in his memory to Sandy Cove Ministries, 60 Sandy Cove Road, North East, MD, 21901.

Ralph H. Jordan passed away unexpectedly on 11/5/2020 at the age of 84. Ralph was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, teacher and friend. He taught in Harford County, MD and retired from Harford Community College. Ralph enjoyed his retirement years and lived in Charleston, SC. Surviving Ralph: daughter Julie Kelly; grandchildren Logan and Amandra Kelly, Nick and Jordan Lyons, Josh and Anne Marie Davis and Katherine Kelly; great-grandchildren Caroline Kelly, McCarthy Lyons, Knight Lyons, Harrison Lyons, Cole Davis and Luella Kelly.
