The Harford Community College Presidential Search Committee is excited to announce that up to four finalists will visit the HCC campus on September 28-29, 2020, October 1-2, 2020, October 5-6, 2020, and again on October 8-9, 2020.

The on-campus meetings and interviews will provide opportunities for all Harford Community College employees and students, as well as members of the Harford County community, to meet the finalists through in-person and virtual open forums.

A nine-member committee led by two of the College’s Board of Trustees, Steve Linkous and Christopher Payne, is overseeing the presidential search process. The committee is composed of representatives of the College’s faculty, staff, administrator, and student governance councils, as well as the HCC Foundation Board, and two Harford County community members.

The committee carefully reviewed more than 40 applications that were submitted for the position, and narrowed that pool to 11 first-round candidates. Following first-round interviews, the search committee selected six candidates to move forward to second-round interviews, which will take place during the week of September 13.  The finalists will be announced on September 21, 2020.
