The Pearson VUE Testing Center at Harford Community College’s Edgewood Hall officially reopened on Monday, October 5. Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and first and third Saturdays each month, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. To make an appointment to take an exam, visit the Pearson Vue website. Approximately 100 different exams are administered by the Pearson Vue Testing Center, including GED, CompTIA exams, NREMT, and Cisco.

The College’s new Test Administrator, Aaron Dunn, recently joined the team at HCC’s Pearson VUE Testing Center and he hopes to work closely with staff from the College’s workforce development department, community agencies and individuals in attaining their GED, or the credential they are seeking to either jump start their career or obtain a promotion using their industry-recognized certificate. A former student of HCC, Aaron earned his associate degree in education and completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in adult learning from Millersville University of Lancaster, PA. He has served within HCC's Adult Literacy Program since 2013.

Please note that all students, employees, vendors, and visitors must fill out a Health Screening Questionnaire* prior to coming to campus. Once the questionnaire is completed and you are cleared to come to campus, you will receive a confirmation number. This must be presented when you arrive at the Edgewood Hall building screening area. Should there be an issue with your Health Screening Questionnaire, you will not be allowed on campus and will be instructed what further steps should be taken.

Please be aware that when taking an exam at Pearson VUE Testing Center, a face mask be worn while testing per local government requirements for operation during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are not able to provide testing services to those without a face mask, nor are we able to supply face masks to candidates. Seating and availability are limited to permit adequate and safe social distancing between testing candidates.

*Please note that a new Health Screening Questionnaire must be submitted each time you plan to come to campus.
