This spring and summer, Harford Community College is offering the following two tours:

Frank Lloyd Wright and Flight 93 Memorial

Join HCC on this exceptional tour to four of Frank Lloyd Wright's famous spaces with a stop at the Flight 93 National Memorial on Monday, March 23, returning on Tuesday, March 24. Frank Lloyd Wright is considered the greatest American architect of all time and this tour will take you to four of his masterful designs. Visit Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Polymath Park and Duncan, and experience first-hand his amazing skill at capturing the natural world. The tour will also stop at the Flight 93 National Memorial Visitor Center where the attack on the U.S. Capitol was thwarted by the passengers and crew. Spend the night at the beautiful Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion, PA. Tour package includes lodging, 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, guided tours of four Wright homes, baggage handling, step-onguide, and transportation by motor coach. Literary Tour of New England

Also upcoming is the College's "Literary Tour of New England," Thursday, June 18 through Sunday, June 21. This exciting tour takes you to the homes and haunts of some of America’s most famous literati. Literature in New England blossomed during the 1800s; it was the age of Hawthorne, Melville, Emerson, Twain, the Alcotts, and many others. Each became a "Giant of American Literature." This tour is escorted by HCC Professor Colleen Webster. Tour package includes transportation by motor coach; lodging at Hampton Inn, Bedford/Burlington, MA; admission and guided tour of the Emily Dickinson Museum; admission to the Ralph Waldo Emerson House; admission to the Concord Museum; tour of Walden Pond; admission to the Orchard House, home of the Alcott family; tour of Salem; tour of Marblehead; admission to the Salem Witch Museum; admission to the Peabody & Essex Museum; admission to the Mark Twain House; 3 breakfasts, 1 dinner, and 1 lunch.
