One of Stephen Sondheim’s most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated dark comedy featuring everyone’s favorite Brothers’ Grimm characters. With a Tony Award-winning book and score, this modern classic is tied together by a plot involving a childless baker, his wife, and their quest to begin a family. On their journey, they meet up with a witch who places a curse on them and interact with several iconic storybook characters. Into the Woods is an epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make – but alas, although everyone’s wish is granted, the consequences of their actions return to haunt them.
