Camp Curiosity will make its debut this summer as Harford Community College’s new and improved summer youth camp. This reimagined program will offer camps that will pique children’s curiosity and enable them to have fun and learn at the same time. This year’s camp offerings reflect emerging interests such as makerspaces and upcycling in addition to a wider variety of STEM and Fine Arts programs, Circus Camp – and even a staging of Mary Poppins! Campers can also design, code, and publish games in the online world of ROBOLOX®, build a skateboard from scratch, and explore cooking as an edible science – there’s something for everyone at Camp Curiosity.

Camp Curiosity will also offer eight separate days of travel adventures where adults and kids will explore new places together. Campers can choose from adventures such as American Girl Doll in New York City, Wolf Sanctuary of PA, LEGO Land in Philadelphia, kayaking and paddle boarding, zip lining, a Scavenger Hunt at the Smithsonian and more!

Camps are available for kids from pre-K to ninth grade. In the interest of offering greater flexibility for families, the College will continue to offer half-day and full-day programs and, new for this year, campers can mix and match morning and afternoon half-day camps when purchasing the lunchtime option. Before-care and after-care options are also available at an additional cost. Visit www.harford.edu/campcuriosity for an online catalog and schedule of camps. Registration opens March 18 when a link to the Camp Docs registration portal will be available on the College’s website.
