April 26 – May 20, 2018

Each year, students in the Art + Design program at Harford Community College are encouraged to submit their work to the Annual Exhibition held in the Chesapeake Gallery on campus in the Student Center – the only gallery between Wilmington, DE and Baltimore, MD exclusively showing contemporary art and design work. This exhibition has a long tradition within the Visual, Performing and Applied Arts Division dating prior to the 1970s. Thousands of students have started their exhibition careers with this show. Over the last decade, this exhibition has been juried by art and design professionals from the region who have recommended purchase awards for students whose work is now permanently collected and displayed in the Joppa North Gallery in Joppa Hall.
