Harford Community College was the featured organization at “Harford Night in Annapolis,” sponsored by the Greater Harford Committee and the Harford County Chamber of Commerce.

In celebration of Harford’s 6oth Anniversary, HCC Board of Trustees Chair Richard Norling, President Dianna G. Phillips, and student Robin Hexter spoke about the community college’s history and programming to the 150+ guests in attendance. Board members Dr. Rich Streett and Dr. James McCauley, along with the College’s executive team members and staff, joined in the evening’s opportunity to speak to legislators from across Maryland. MG Randy Taylor, Commanding General of the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, was also a featured speaker during the formal presentation and addressed some of the partnerships that occur with Harford Community College as well as other community organizations.

Guests were invited to participate in the culminating event of the College’s anniversary year, “Illuminate,” a reception to be held in the APGFCU Arena on March 10th. Hosted by the Harford Community College Foundation, “Illuminate” will honor the past, celebrate the present, and toast the College of the future.
