A contemporary portrait of identity, family and friendship-Moonlight is based on the play “In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue” and was adapted for screen by Barry Jenkins. Moonlight chronicles the stages of development from childhood, adolescence and burgeoning adulthood of Chiron-a young, African-American, gay man growing up in a tough neighborhood of Miami.

This documentary is presented in celebration of National Coming Out Day.
