Women interested in farm management can increase their chances of success by participating in Annie’s Project, a farm management program offered at Harford Community College through a partnership with the University of Maryland and University of Delaware Cooperative Extensions. The 8-week program is designed to empower women in overall farm decision making and in building professional relationships/networks throughout the state.

Program sessions cover the five areas of risk management—production, marketing, finance, legal issues, and human resources. Any woman with a passion for business, agriculture, and involvement in the farm operation is invited to participate. Class is limited to 20 students.
