Electrical Apprenticeship Program Update

The Electrical Apprenticeship Program’s in-person classes are canceled and students will be completing the school year through online distance learning. Assignments, which were emailed, are due no later than April 30.

Harford Community College Professor of Humanities Colleen Webster was recently quoted in an editorial entitled, “We need more researchers in Women’s History Month” on the highly regarded London-based website The piece reviewed various women who made their place in scientific history and referenced Colleen’s “one-woman show” on the life of environmental pioneer Rachel Carson.

The Maryland Urban and Community Forest Committee of the MD Association of District Forestry Boards, in partnership with the MD Department of Natural Resources Forest Service, has awarded Harford Community College with the Gold PLANT (People Loving and Nurturing Trees) Award for 2019.
