Harford Community College is proud to announce those students named to the President’s List for the spring 2015 semester.
Richard P. Streett, III, D.V.M. was sworn in on June 26 at the Harford County Court House as a new member of the Harford Community College Board of Trustees, serving as an at-large representative.
The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will meet in open session on Tuesday, August 11, at 6 p.m. in the Chesapeake Center Board Room.
The Southern Harford County Rotary announces the establishment of an annual $1,000 scholarship for a student enrolled in the GED program at Harford Community College.
For foreign-born individuals 16 years of age or older who would like to improve their English communication skills, Harford Community College offers free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes made possible by a grant from the State of Maryland.
The Maryland Humanities Council has awarded a grant of $9,750 to support an exhibit and related programming at the Hays-Heighe House at Harford Community College.
The Pinning Ceremony for 49 Harford Community College associate degree nursing graduates was held in the Amoss Center on May 19. This ceremony, which is shared with family and friends, is viewed by most of these students as the culmination of their education at HCC. After four semesters of clinical nursing, they enjoy celebrating with their classmates, who many have come to think of as their extended family.
Harford Community College students Caitlin Bechtel and Casey Garnett were nominated for the 2015 All-USA Community College Academic Team. The team recognizes high achieving two-year college students who demonstrate academic excellence and intellectual rigor combined with leadership and service that extends beyond the classroom to benefit society.
