About Harford

Located on more than 350 beautifully landscaped acres near Bel Air, Maryland, Harford Community College has been helping people reach their goals since 1957.

Offering more than 80 affordable degree and certificate programs of study to nearly 2,000 full-time and 7,500 part-time students, as well as a wide variety of noncredit continuing education courses to nearly 11,000 students a year, HCC’s top priority is the quality of education we provide.

Our dedicated and decorated faculty members encourage learning beyond the classroom, and our small class sizes help students get the personal attention they need to be successful.

Whether your goal is to earn an associate degree, transfer to a four-year university, obtain training for your career, or take courses for personal enrichment, HCC gives you the power, the tools, and the support to define your future.

Strategic Plan

Effective July 1, 2019, the College is operating under a new five-year strategic plan, which includes new mission, vision, and values statements.
